I'm Oleg. Together with my co-founder Stefano, I design and lead private days on Lake Como for travellers who want the real lake — unhurried, personal, and away from the midday crowds. This is a day built entirely around your group: your route, your pace, your kind of places.

What makes this private Lake Como tour different

A private van, door-to-door

Pickup from your Milan hotel — or meet us at Milano Centrale if you prefer. A private van and your own guide for the full day, no shared coaches.

Your itinerary, not ours

We suggest routes based on your interests and your group, then you set the pace, the stops, and how long you linger anywhere.

Two lakes, two countries

We can cross into Switzerland in the same day — Lake Lugano and villages like Morcote, one of the most beautiful in the country, are within easy reach.

Bellagio at golden hour

We time Bellagio for the late afternoon, when the day-trippers have gone and the town glows in the evening light — a different place entirely from Bellagio at noon.

A ferry on the lake — or a private boat

Ferry tickets are included, so you cross the water the way locals do, with the Alps reflected around you. For something special, you can add a private wooden boat from €300 per hour (per boat).

Lake Como is huge — seeing all of it in a day is like trying to see all of New York in a day. We show you some of its most iconic and beautiful places, and with a private boat for a couple of hours you can take in almost everything that matters:

1 hour — the essentials: the main villas and the most photogenic stretch of the central lake.
2 hours — a very comfortable amount of time to see the iconic central lake properly.
3 hours — enough to stop at Villa del Balbianello and take in all the iconic villas of the central lake.

On request

We can arrange a visit to Villa del Balbianello — the Star Wars and James Bond villa — even on dates when tickets are sold out on the villa's own website. We can also book you a table at a genuinely beautiful restaurant or a five-star hotel dining room for lunch. Just tell us what you have in mind.

Why This Tour Is Unique

Most Lake Como day trips from Milan follow the same formula: a shared bus, a rushed stop in Bellagio at midday when it's at its most crowded, a quick photo, and back on the motorway. That's not what we do.

We built this tour around a simple principle: the lake is more interesting when you slow down. Bellagio in the late afternoon — when the tour groups have left and the light turns gold — is a completely different place from Bellagio at noon. Morcote, across the Swiss border, is a village most visitors to Lake Como never see. Arriving by private van rather than a shared coach isn't just about comfort — it's the freedom to stop whenever something is worth stopping for.

Oleg and Stefano lead every private tour themselves. Not a subcontracted driver with a headset — the people who designed this itinerary are the people who show it to you.

This is also one of the few Lake Como tours that crosses into Switzerland. Morcote sits on Lago di Lugano, minutes from the Italian border — a medieval lakeside village of stone arcades, cypress trees, and absolute quiet. It's the kind of place Swiss villa owners have kept to themselves for decades. We know how to get there, and when.

What You'll Experience

The itinerary below is our most popular route — Morcote, Lugano, and Bellagio. It is a well-crafted suggestion, not a fixed schedule. Every group is different, and the day adjusts to you.

Example A — Morcote, Lugano & Bellagio (9–10h · most popular)

Cross into Switzerland for Morcote — one of the most beautiful villages in the country — then spend time in Lugano before crossing back into Italy for Bellagio at golden hour. Ferry included on the lake.

Example B — Como City, Torno, Bellagio & Passo del Ghisallo (8–9h)

Start in Como city — the cathedral, the silk district, the lakefront. Stop in Torno, one of the quietest and most beautiful villages on the western shore. Continue to Bellagio, then climb to the Passo del Ghisallo — the cyclist's chapel perched above the lake with one of the most dramatic views in Lombardy.

Example C — Lecco, Varenna, Bellano & the Orrido Gorge (8–9h)

The eastern branch of the lake — Lecco and Manzoni country — then north to Varenna, the most romantic village on the lake. From there, Bellano and the Orrido: a dramatic gorge carved by the Pioverna river, less than an hour from Milan and almost entirely unknown to tourists.

Example D — The Quiet North: Gravedona, Dongo & Domaso (full day)

The northern end of Lake Como sees a fraction of the visitors that Bellagio and Varenna attract. Small fishing harbours, Romanesque churches, windsurfers on the water, and a pace of life that feels nothing like a tourist destination. For guests who want the lake without the crowds, this is the route.

These are examples, not fixed menus. Tell us who you are travelling with, what matters to you, and how much time you want to spend moving versus staying — and we will build the day from there.

Your day, your way

Our itinerary is a well-crafted suggestion, but it's 100% flexible:

Spend more time in a favorite place
Add a stop in charming Varenna
Enjoy shopping in Lugano
End the day with dinner at Villa Serbelloni in Bellagio

Because real luxury isn't about checking boxes — it's about enjoying fewer moments, deeply and beautifully.
